The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is now open to seniors over 65, children under 18, and adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit Certificate; who: do not currently have dental insurance, have a family net income of less than $90,000, are a Canadian resident, and have filed taxes in the previous year.

• As of July 8th, 2024 the CDCP is available to all providers via billing through Sun Life, just like any other insurance plan.

• A list of participating dentists can be found through Sun Life.

• If you have general questions about the CDCP, you can submit an eServiceCanada request form to have a Service Canada representative call you back within 2 business days.

• For help applying to the CDCP, you can also call the CDCP information line at: 1-833-537-4342.
